Education

2002 - 2007 Graduated as composer after composition studies at Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory under Vardan Ajemyan (Armenia)
1995 - 1996 Attended music school in Greece (Crete, Heraklion, Ethniko Odio)

Awards and prizes

2007 1st prize at pre-art 3rd international composers competition in Switzerland for Kyrie Eleison (in Memory of G. Ligeti)
2006 Chorus competition Award for Manushakaguyn (Violet).
  1st prize for Game at the Competition named after G. Sarajev for piano works (Armenia)
  1st prize for PRAY at the International Music Composition Competition Sayat Nova 2006 (France)
2005 honorary mention in the at pre-art first international composers competition in Zurich (Switzerland)
2004 1st Prize for Tsover (seas) in the Lazarus Saryan vocal competition in Yerevan (Armenia)
2003 3rd Prize for Ecstasy in the 100th anniversary of Aram Khachaturian competition in Yerevan (Armenia)
  2nd Prize for Ellipse in the Young composers competition dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Benjamin Britten in Yerevan (Armenia)
