Education

Graduated from Milan conservatory having studied piano with Alberto Colombo and composition with Sandro Gorli and Alessandro Solbiati.

Postgraduate diploma in composition at the Conservatory of Strasbourg under Ivan Fedele and also at the Accademia Nazionale di S. Cecilia where she studied with Azio Corghi, obtaining her diploma with top marks.

1st prize for composition in various international competitions, among which:

  • Novurgia (Milan, 2004)
  • Camillo Togni (Brescia, 2004)

2006 Chosen to take part in the Acanthes Festival and in the Seminar in Composition and Computer Science for Music at IRCAM (Paris, France)
2005 Honored with the prestigious Premio Goffredo Petrassi for Composition, established by the President of the Republic and the Accademia Nazionale di S. Cecilia (Italy)
2003 Attended the composition course taught by Azio Corghi at the Accademia Chigiana, earning a scholarship as well as a meritorious degree (Italy)
2002 Invited by the Royal University College of Music of Stockholm to the Stockholm International Composition Course held by Magnus Lindberg (Stockholm, Sweden)
2000 Chosen to participate in the 7th Young Composers Meeting organized by the Gaudeamus Foundation of Amsterdam, under the direction of Louis Andriessen (Amsterdam, Holland)
Attended advanced classes in composition and analysis taught by Franco Donatoni, Luca Francesconi, Mauricio Kagel, Gyorgy Ligeti and Salvatore Sciarrino.
