Education

Graduated Janacek’s Academy of Music ( JAMU ) in Brno under Prof. V. Slavikova.
Graduated from Janacek’s Conservatoire in Ostrava under Prof. M. Tugendliebova

Masterclasses

2005Artist Residency in Banff, Canada and also became the only Czech pianist to be invited to participate in the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warszaw
2005Laureate of the UNESCO - Aschberg Bursaries ( Paris )
2004Received a Sirius Grant to enjoy the class of Prof. Anne Mette Stæhr of the Royal Danish Academy of Music.
2001One year study period under Prof. Renna Kellaway at the University of Leeds as a part of the Socrates / Erasmus Programme.

Prizes

2005Winner of the First Prize and J. Seidler Prize in the International Anglo-Czechoslovak Trust Competition in London.
2003First Janacek Prize at the International Competition in Baden by Vienna.
2001Second Prize in the International Competition in London
 Won an audition and joined the LUUMS Orchestra as a soloist. Together they performed the Grieg Piano Concerto in Leeds Town Hall and in St. Judith Church in Prague.

In December 2006 Zuzana became a permanent resident of Montreal, Canada. For 2007 she is planning to record a CD with Préludes à un pays vrai by the Quebecian composer, J. Chatillon, for spring 2007 a world premiere performance + recording of the First Piano Concerto by John Kenneth Graham in New York and for the winter the project Luminiscence.
