Since many years Petra Stump and Heinz-Peter Linshalm are working together as a duo and set up their reputation with own ensembles (like the duo stump-linshalm, trio21 and quartett22) and projects in contemporary music. The duo stump-linshalm strives for enrichment of modern chamber music with a new combination of instruments and sounds and to find new possibilities in close cooperation with the composers. Thus many new works are dedicated to them from composers like Beat Furrer, Gerald Futscher, Bernhard Gander, Christoph Herndler, Bertl Mütter, Jorge Sánchez-Chiong, Karlheinz Stockhausen, Judit Varga and Daniel de la Cuesta. Some of these works are released on CD by ein_klang records.
The duo stump-linshalm gives regularly lectures and workshops on contemporary playing technics for students, teachers and professionales. In autumn 2005 Doblinger Verlag published their book "New Music for Young Clarinet Players".
Apart from classical, contemporary and electronical music the duo stump-linshalm also creates concerts for children like the "Zauberflöte" by Mozart or "Tierkreis" by Stockhausen.
