2006 Postgraduate Course in Mozarteum University, Salzburg, Austria. Class of Prof. Matthias Seidel and Prof. Marco Diaz Tamayo. Here she studied new music with Simone Fontanelli and Martin Mumelter, early music with Jürgen Hübscher and Howard Penny.

  Performances in Torino.
2008 3rd prize at the International Guitar Competition Accademia Santoro Bojano, Italia.
2006 in Salzburg at the Museum of Modern Art, Rupertinum, first performance of Sonata for guitar by Jee Soo Shin;
2002 - 2004 with the Instrumental Theater Group, founded in Alessandria, she performed in Alessandria, Italy, and Odense, Denmark; first performance of the opera La mucca allocca by Andy Pape, written for this group;

2008 Teacher of guitar in the Conservatory A. Vivaldi, Alessandria, Italy, in the preparatory studies for children and in a course for adults.

2008 The repertory of Elisa Villa includes baroque music such as J.S. Bach luth suites, early music by John Dowland, Francesco Da Milano; XIX century music: Sor, Giuliani, Regondi, Mertz; XX century music: De Falla, Rodrigo, Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Villa-Lobos, Takemitsu, Henze, Leo Brouwer, Fontanelli and others.

2009 First recording of Mi corazòn escribirìa una postrera carta by Simone Fontanelli, for solo guitar.

Projects

Elisa Villa would like your support for the following projects:

  • Attending the PhD in Mozarteum University, Salzburg, and to graduate in Kärntner Landeskonservatorium, Klagenfurt and need financial help for studying.
  • To have contact with a manager/agent that could help me finding concerts around the world, as soloist and as member of ensemble.
  • To get in contact and work creatively on music with composers.
  • She recorded a CD (2009) that she would like to publish.
  • To create a group, together with other musicians, focused on contemporary music.
